How to Maximize your Investment
Use your HSA card.
Do an intensive session to get more done in one day, cost less, and not leave work as often.
Ask your work about an EAP program; sometimes they will pay.
Get a superbill from me and submit to your insurance for out of network providers and get possibly reimbursed. (Psst. Ask me more!)
Virtual online therapy
Not only does virtual therapy allow you to do therapy from a comfortable place, but you also can do it with the therapist of your choosing anywhere in the state of North Dakota or Minnesota.
Need a little more convincing on online therapy? Check out these other benefits!
You don't have to wait in an area that smells like hobby lobby for our session if you are early!
Roll out of bed, put on your clothes, grab a snack and a drink and pop me up on the screen!
When using messaging options, you can vent and let things out in real time instead of having to wait to meet with me again. Which can be helpful when sh*t can hit the fan. (disclaimer this is not for crisis purposes)
I would love to say hi to surprise guests that include children and pets.
We can have hysterical conversations about technology when our screens freeze with wild faces.
Save money on gas by not driving to see me. You know that crazy thing we call winter, neither of us have to worry about getting stuck in the snow!
You can see me for a session anywhere in the states where I am licensed.
Not too sure about the private pay/cash pay aspect of my practice? Let me tell you why its helpful for both of us.
I want to help you in the most effective way but also at your pace.
When insurance is involved, we can have limited time in which they want us to get things done.
We both know that sometimes we need more support and time to work on ourselves, and someone else should not dictate that.
I want to see you blossom in the timeframe we need, not the one we are allowed.
Without that added pressure, we also see that most times people are seen short term and still accomplish all that they can with other therapists.
Meeting with me can still be used towards your deductible.
How does that work Sammy?? I give you a super bill each month to submit to insurance and then see if they accept it toward your out of network deductible. Sounds a little wild? Don't worry we can talk more about that in our consult!
Not being involved with insurance also means they cannot dictate how we meet… we can meet either telehealth, by phone, or through messages which isn't always an option when using insurance.
Of course, we are all busy and sometimes dont have the funds we wish we had. We can go at a pace that works best for you and I have a few options to chose from.
-
Option 1
You tell me how often you are able to meet. Able to see me weekly, bi-weekly or monthly? You tell me what fits best for you.
-
Option 2
Instead of a 50 minute session, lets meet for 25 minutes. You would be surprised how much work we can still accomplish in that amount of time.
-
Option 3
Bundle 4 sessions and pay upfront for a discount!
-
Option 4
Don't have time to meet but want to have real time support? Ask about messaging options that allow for support in a more convenient manner.
